This service protects pipe from rust and moisture caused by exposure to the elements. Corrosion can pose a threat to the integrity of a pipeline. Corrosion causes billions of dollars worth of damage each year. As a result of this chemical-physical process, pipeline sections often have to be taken out of service and replaced. In order to prevent corrosion, the high-density polyethylene (HDPE) is widely applied in the available coating methods.

Metal paint is widely available at home improvement, paint and hardware stores, and simple to use -- some formulas don't even require primer to bond to new metal with a one-step paint and primer product. Wipe down primed and dried pipe with a clean rag to remove any dust, and paint it in a well-ventilated area with plenty of protective old paper or drop cloths to contain drips or drifting spray. Always use a mask when working with spray paint.
Beveling steel pipes contain one end angled, so that it mates with a complementary pipe end. Pipes can be beveled for certain applications in order to make welding of stainless steel pipes easier, which saves weld prep time and money compared to hand cutting.

Our standard steel tubes and pipes are usually available in 3m and 6m lengths. However to assist you with your project we also offer a ‘cut to length service’ that allows you to customize the lengths of your steel tubes and pipes. This service is available at free cost which will depend on the number of different tubes you order and the size of the finished components.
When you are installing steel pipe, you often have a termination point in the steel pipe closed off by a steel cap. Steel caps are either weld-on or threaded and the type you use will vary depending on the application. For the majority of home piping, you will use a threaded steel cap. A threaded steel cap has internal female threads that match the common male threads found on the steel pipe. Metal steel threads do not seal properly dry and you will need to coat the threads of the steel cap to achieve a proper seal.
Zinc, a natural, healthy, and abundant element is wildly used in construction. Zinc metal has a number of characteristics that make it a well-suited corrosion protective coating for iron and steel products. Zinc’s excellent corrosion resistance in most environments accounts for its successful use as a protective coating on a variety of products and in many exposure conditions.
This proven corrosion resistance is a result of zinc’s ability to form dense, adherent corrosion by products, which leads to a rate of corrosion considerably lower than ferrous materials – 10 to 100 times slower, depending on the environment. While a fresh zinc surface is quite reactive when exposed to the atmosphere, zinc corrosion products develop rapidly on the surface as the coating is exposed to natural wet and dry cycles in the atmosphere.
